Ethics

These days there is a lot of talk about reducing your carbon footprint, being more green and helping the environment. LA Muscle has always tried to be as green as possible without compromising the quality of its products. We have not broadcast this out to the world because it is something that we undertook years ago as a matter of course and not a publicity exercise. 

LA Muscle started manufacturing locally a few years back. We have done this in several countries as much as possible, without compromising the potency of products. This enables us to give you fresher products and drastically off-set our carbon footprint due to the way goods are transported. Instead of a planeload of products crossing the Atlantic, we have a delivery by a truck from a few miles away.

Whenever we ship anything by plane, we insist on using scheduled flights.

Recycling Policy

LA Muscle uses recycled materials where possible and where available. This goes for paper, cardboard, plastics and glass. We started one of the first commercial recycling initiatives in our area at our London headquarters. Commercial recycling is not cheap and most companies do not do it as they don't need to. LA Muscle pays for recycling. We have also encouraged our neighbours in London to join in the initiative - that's 24 other companies! We urge recipients of emails to not print them where possible.

 

Saving Water & Light

LA Muscle uses dry tabletting for its manufacturing process. We also use water sparingly in all our headquarters worldwide. We encourage you to use water sparingly as the world's resources are limited and availability should not be taken for granted.

LA Muscle also pays very close attention to lighting and we use low energy lighting where possible.

 

Caring Business transport

LA Muscle has reduced travelling for all its senior directors and managers as much as practicable. If we can do something via conference call or email, this is what we do. We travel transatlantic as little as possible and we encourage car sharing and walking as much as possible for all staff.

 

Supporting sports and sportspersons

Since the early days, we have always put a substantial amount of money back into the industry. This has been through sponsoring individuals or events. In many cases sponsoring a show costs several thousand pounds and the returns are minimal. LA Muscle has continued show sponsorship as this is often the "only" way an event can take place enabling athletes and body builders to compete.
