Liver Detox Drink Recipe

This is a great liver detox drink for anyone with a toxic liver or anyone who has used a lot of dodgy substances!


  1. 1 cup of water
  2. 1 tablespoon of organic apple cider vinegar
  3. 1 tablespoon of fresh lemon juice
  4. 1-2 teaspoons of pure maple syrup or honey (optional, for sweetness)
  5. A pinch of cayenne pepper (optional, for a little kick)


  1. Start by squeezing the juice from half a lemon into a glass.
  2. Add apple cider vinegar, maple syrup or honey, and a pinch of cayenne pepper to the glass.
  3. Pour in 1 cup of water and stir the mixture well.
  4. Drink first thing in the morning on an empty stomach.

Why these ingredients?

  1. Lemon Juice: Lemons are a source of vitamin C, which is an antioxidant. They're believed to enhance the body's ability to detoxify and can aid digestion.

  2. Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV): While scientific evidence is lacking, many believe ACV can help balance the body's pH, boost gut health, and support detoxification processes.

  3. Maple Syrup/Honey: Aside from sweetness, they provide minerals and antioxidants.

  4. Cayenne Pepper: Can stimulate circulation and aid digestion.

It's essential to be cautious and not overconsume detox drinks, especially those containing apple cider vinegar, as it can be acidic and may irritate the stomach in larger quantities.
