1. Clean up your diet

If you want a treat now and then, don't be afraid to indulge! Just keep it limited. Eat enough: Skipping meals or not eating enough will lead to low blood sugar levels, which will cause emotional symptoms like irritability or mood swings.

2. Exercise is crucial

Exercise releases endorphins, which have mood-boosting effects. Endorphins are also pain relievers. Spending 30 minutes of moderate exercise three to five times a week can make a big difference in your mental health. When exercising, it is crucial to stick with something you enjoy doing, whether that is running or going on a bike ride. 3. Get enough sleep

Experts recommend around eight hours of sleep daily. Consider going to bed and waking up simultaneously each day to help regulate your body's natural sleep rhythm. Create a bedtime routine, including winding down for 30 minutes before sleep and disconnecting from electronic screens. If you cannot sleep after 30 minutes, get out of bed and do something calming until you feel sleepy again. You might also consider trying relaxation techniques such as deep breathing or progressive muscle relaxation. Permit yourself to take naps during the day if you're feeling tired. Be mindful about what you eat; The foods we eat impact our mood, so be cautious about what you put in your body. For example, overeating sugar is terrible for mental health because it causes spikes in blood sugar levels, leading to depression, anxiety, fatigue and poor concentration levels over time.

4. Don't be afraid to ask for help

It can be challenging to admit that you need help, but it's important to remember that you can visit a professional that can actually help you. If you're feeling overwhelmed, talking to a therapist or counsellor can be a great way to get started on the path to recovery.

5. Stay social
